Here, some simple examples of sanshou (free hand) methods of parry, deflect, enter, throw and footwork without the normal striking power as it is just for teaching purposes. With striking of course everything is faster and a bit more flowing as the shock does much of the work. Broken down to stages for teaching purposes, it is used quite a bit differently. This is fun practice.. on the grass.
